    *THE MYSTERY PARTY ON 03/24 HAS BEEN CANCELLED* This is the first of three different mystery parties. Space is limited. To sign up please call the library at 866-5060. If you have questions or comments, please email stephennelson2017@rsu26.org. Mayhem at the Museum Death on Display has everything: a heist, a hurricane, and a homicide. Unearth the secrets of your museum co-workers while trying to bury your own past! The first 8 people to sign up will have a role in the mystery, so sign up fast! After the first 8 spots are filled, participants will be “audience members” who will participate in some plotting and questioning. The mystery was created by local Orono High Schooler and Orono Public Library Trustees Member Stephen Nelson.

  2. 4H-S.T.E.M Crazy 8s Math Club

    4H STEM Math Club for 3rd-5th graders meets 6 Mondays beginning March 20. Get kids fired up about math and help them appreciate the math that's all around them by exploring math fun with others. Activities will be social, collaborative, and focused on fun. Supervised by UMaine student 4H-STEM Ambassadors who will lead activities such as Flying Marshmallows, Zip Line Zoo and Glow in the Dark Geometry.     UMaine students will share information on nutrition and healthy snacks with teens in this program at the OPL. There will be demonstrations, food tasting, cooking and more.
