Come on down to Mill Street, Trunk or Treaters!

Tuesday, October 31st from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

It's time once again for the return of this beloved Orono tradition!

Trunk or Treat is an event that allows trick-or-treaters to go out on Halloween night to collect candy. Instead of going door to door, you go trunk to trunk. Vehicles will be decorated and parked along Mill Street in Orono.

Want to Participate in This Year's Event?

Download the application to participate as a "Trunk" and join the fun!

Orono’s 2023 Trunk or Treat Participant Application Form

Fill out the PDF form and email it to Meghan Mazzella or give Meghan a call at 207-889-6913. You can also print and return the completed form to the Town Office at 59 Main Street, Orono, attn. Meghan Mazzella.

We hope this opportunity allows businesses to participate in the holiday as well as provide a safe place for kiddos to get the full Halloween experience while relieving the burden placed on parents to walk through other neighborhoods.

Mill Street Business Owners and Residents:

● Mill Street will be closed from Main Street to Ampersand, from 1:00 PM on Tuesday until 6:30 PM.

● There will be signs denoting closed parking spaces 24 hours before the event, to give people time to make alternative parking plans.

● Delivery Drivers will be able to drive up Mill Street as far as Thai Orchid for parking.
