OPL Banned Books Club


Our Banned Book Club features a wonderful line-up of fascinating reads, including books that may have generated controversy and / or censorship in certain locations! Please join us to discuss (and select future) titles, eat pizza -- and to enjoy a sense of community with peers and fellow students!  


The OPL Banned Books Club is open to 8th - 12th graders.  We meet once a month (i.e., 4th Tues of each month) to discuss our book of the month, eat some pizza, and have random conversations!  We conclude each meeting by choosing our upcoming book.


We will meet on Tuesday 28 November at 5:30 pm.  


Our books for this session include a series by Jerry Craft:  (1) New Kid; (2) Class Act; and (3) School Trip.


Please let Lindsay know if you plan to attend so we can order enough pizza!
