1. What do I need to register my vehicle?

If you are registering this vehicle for the first time, you will need to bring proof of residency. Otherwise, you will need to bring your previous registration. In both cases, you will also need to bring proof of insurance, your mileage, and cash or a check to pay with(we do not accept credit or debit).

2. What do I need to register my dog?

You need to bring a rabies certificate and proof that your dog is spayed/neutered.

3. How do I register to vote?

We can take care of everything down at the Town Office as long as you bring proof of residency and proof of US citizenship.

4. How do I get a landfill permit?

Landfill permits can be obtained in the town office, with prices varying based on the vehicle that you will be hauling with. For those who never before obtained a landfill permit from the Town, proof of residence is required. The landfill is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 4pm.

5. Does the Town offer notary or dedimus services?

Yes. All of the assistant clerks are notaries and our town clerk is a dedimus justice.

6. When are taxes due?

Taxes are due in both September and February.

7. How do I switch my sewer account to be in my name?

Please contact your closing company.

8. How do I get an abatement on my sewer bill?

Within 30 days of receiving your bill, come to the Town Office and get an abatement form.
